Developing Intuition

How to Develop Your Intuition
By Emweje

What is intuition and how can I develop intuition? It's not that we lose our ability to develop intuition. Our consciousness becomes cut off and isolated, void of the creative and vivid mental clarity that comes from developing our sixth sense, from developing intuition.
A textbook definition of intuition is, "understanding without effort". The only thing that stands between you and developing intuition is your own mind's resistance to change. The mind does not want to change, so the mind resists. Gain the knowledge to make important life decisions, i.e. career changes, investment strategies, relationship changes, etc.

Attain natural stress relief. Achieve increased confidence, mental clarity and heightened states of awareness.
This happened to people who were scheduled for the Titanic. Do you listen?
Let's stick with the traveling metaphor. Do you listen to your rational mind or your intuition? Wouldn't you be thanking your lucky stars that you paid attention?
 Learning to Listen
Developing your intuition isn't too difficult. When you begin to pay attention, your intuition will begin speaking more loudly.
Once you have received any intuitive information, thank yourself silently for the information. Listen to them. The more you listen, the more your intuition will tell you.
There are a few pitfalls you want to avoid when developing your intuition. Think of all those slasher films... if only those people had listened to their intuition instead of going down to the dark basement alone, they'd still be alive. Your intuition rarely speaks directly. Follow these suggestions and watch your
If you ignored that feeling and proceeded anyway, you probably experienced negative consequences. Our forebears relied heavily on intuition to avoid dangerous predators, determine the best hunting times and even decide on the most beneficial place to build a village to ensure the longevity of the tribe. Developing your intuition is a very simple process; it just requires a bit of patience and persistence. Since most intuitive prompts are perceived as bodily sensations, you´ll need to be able to tell when you´re receiving signals from your subconscious mind. At other times your gut feelings can be very mild, like the sensation of "butterflies" or nervousness. As you get used to tuning into your body, you´ll begin to notice how often the feelings change in response to your activities. Don´t worry if you can´t define the sensations you experience right away. Step Two - Deciphering The Messages Once you´ve developed a familiarity with your own bodily sensations and intuitive prompts, it´s time to strengthen your interpretation skills. Deciphering messages from your intuition can often be like fitting together puzzle pieces.
